Healing water

Some time when you’re feeling important

Sometime when you ego’s in bloom

Some time when you take it for granted

You’re the best qualified person in the room

Some time when you feel that you’re going

Would leave an unfillable hole

Just folow these simple instructions

And see how they humble your soul…

*     *     *     *    *     *     *     *     *     *

Take a bucket and fil it with water

Put your hands in up to your wrists

Pull them out – and the hole that remains

Is the measure of how you’ll be missed

You may splash all you please when you enter

You may stir up the waters galore

But stop and you’ll find in a minute

That it looks just the same as before

*     *     *     *     *     *     *     *     *     *     *

The moral of this is quite simple:

You must do the best that you can

Be proud of yourself, but remember

There is no despensable woman or man.

*          *          *          *          *          *

Happy Chi

You may be familiar with the idea of ancient Eastern medicine, so here is something you can practise when you feel the world is causing you to have a little tantrum.

The soles of your feet hold a critical  key to the meridians that circulate vital energy or life force around your body.

If you would like to activate the acupressure points on the soles of your feet whilst driving healthy and happy chi around from head to toe, then take off your shoes and stamp each foot on the floor 27 times, a smile on your face helps, but is not compulsory :-)

If you continue to do this 3-5 times a week, you will notice a markable difference very quickly.

The Law Of Attraction

Esther & Jerry Hicks

Just today i received an e-mail from Esther and Jerry Hicks about these videos totalling approximately 40 minutes, filmed in Los Angeles just last weekend about the Law of Attraction. I find the Abraham material to be enlightening, educational and a whole lot more than I can find the words to express right now.

Have a look at these clips and enjoy the journey and learning process.

The Why Cafe

This weekend i had the pleasure of reading a book, by John Strelecky called The Why Are You Here Cafe.

It is a reasonable short book but none-the-less very thought provoking indeed. If you feel that you are at some kind of a crossroad on your journey of life and you are looking for happiness when happiness is the way then i feel you will enjoy this book greatly. It is simple yet profound and as most things in life, where there is subtlety and ease of choice it is usually the hardest choice to make.

If you would like to see further work of John Strelecky please take a look at his website at www.whycafe.com where you can sign up to his motivational newsletter, access some free articles and read about his other works, including his internationally recognised CD series on ‘The Big Five For Life’. Which John based on his 70,000 mile trip (3 times the circumference of the earth) over a nine month period where he & his wife backpacked using a combination of horse, boat, elephant, bicycle as well as other modes of transport.

John also has a site which is asking for a minimal donation of just $1 as part of a non-profit organization he founded called ‘Inspire Two Million’. Have a look at the website www.inspire2million.com

Wishing you a wonderful week and should you buy the book i wish you an amazing epiphany.

Roots and Wings

This is a lovely Child’s Bedtime Song i want to share with you.

If I had two wishes, I know what they would be

I’d wish for roots to cling to and wings to set me free;

Roots of inner value, like rings within a tree

and wings of independance to seek my destiny.

Roots to hold forever to keep me safe and strong,

To let me know you love me, when I’ve done something wrong;

To show me by example and help me learn to choose,

To take those actions everyday to win instead of lose.

Just be there when I need yo, to tell me it’s all right,

To test my fear of falling when I test my wings in flight;

Don’t make my life too easy, it’s better if I try,

And fail and get back up myself, so I can learn to fly.

If I had two wishes and they were all I had,

And they could just be granted, by my mom and dad;

I woudn’t ask for money or any store bought things,

The greatest gifts I’d ask for are simply roots and wings.

Get Unstuck and Get Going

Get Unstuck & Get Going - a powerful self-coaching tool for personal and professional breakthroughs

Michael Bungay Stanier has produced a program to help you get moving, whatever your feelings are about a certain something, that is keeping you from getting ahead, you can relax now and know that help is available.

I have been absorbing Michael’s wisdom since 2006 and i find him to be a very calm and unpretentious individual with a lot to offer in the way of coaching. Each coach has their speciality and individual style. I have many mentors & love the combination of personalities , enabling me to improve my style based on what I admire and model of others.

In this program, Michael asks you questions and gives a great deal of information on helping you to stop procrastinating and start taking responsibility for your life.

Here are some of the areas covered in the program, which can be yours at the click of a button, all you need to do is decide whether you feel you can benefit from being just good, to being great. If you can see yourself in that position then click on the picture above and you will be transported to the land of progress.

What KEEPS you stuck?

Do you have the LEVERAGE you need?

What’s GATHERING dust on your shelves?

How do you keep SHARP edges?

Is it TIME to get out of the mud?

Have a look at the link and you will find more information which may help you decide how this program works, it will work if you engage in it, so see the details and pick an option you feel would suit your needs best.

Have a marvellous Monday

Happy For No Reason

b-ms.jpg

It is often the assumption that in order to feel happy, you need to have a reason for feeling this emotion. Contrary to this belief, it is actually quite possible to change your thoughts to one’s of happiness and experience being happy. Once you set off a trend of feeling happy, you will start to notice that there are more things to feel happy about, in so doing you will be setting off a domino effect.

Marci Schimoff of the world famous movie and book ‘The Secret’ and co-author of six Chicken Soup for the Soul books, has just released a book called ‘Happy For No Reason’ a seven step process moving you into a state of fulfilment, relaxation, peacefulness and as a result being open to more opportunities of every sort you can imagine.

Especially as we are at a time of year where change is imminent, because of New Year’s resolutions. I thought about my own desires for the coming year and how much easier it is to progress when feeling happy and positive about what lies ahead. Of course there are often ups and downs as you take the journey of life, but how much better you can make it, depends on your state of mind.

Why not be in control of yours and make the concious choice of affirmative action for you. Ultimately you can only take responsibility for yourself, so step up and take action and make this year start with feelings of ‘I can do it’.

Wishing you Happiness for the upcoming week

Dreams Road Sign In MexicoI know i haven’t tried posting picture to my blog ever before, but as i become more proficient, i hope to share some more colour as well as text in here. So today i thought it would be nice to share a photo of a Road sign which i took last month while in Mexico. I think it’s a beautiful name for a place so warm and amazing.

Another quick note, for those of you who live in London, tomorrow Lynne McTaggart author of “The Field” will be doing a talk about the “Intention Experiment” at the College of Psychic Studies in South Kennsington. Maybe see you there!

Overcoming Perfectionism

If you are experiencing anxiety, depression or relationship problems due to perfectionist tendencies have a look at these following exercisers and experiment to see which ones work for you.

Imagine placing expectations of yourself onto another person. Do they still seem reasonable?

Think about the feedback you received whilst growing up. Was it appropriate? How did it make you feel?

If you are feeling overburdened, think of what you could drop. Can you delegate?

If you fear mistakes, make small ones deliberately. Send an e-mail with a typo and see what happens.

If you always have to be the best, join an evening class or group where you have no experience.

Confess to a small error. If telling a family member is the hardest, start with a friend or colleague.

Weigh the benefits of your high standards against the costs. Do you feel that the results you achieve are worth the stress and anxiety you experience?

If you feel your perfectionism is having a negative impact on you life, seek help. You are not admitting failure by doing so.

Dr Seuss Quotes

Today i wanted to post some of the Dr. Seuss Quotes

which i like, for you to enjoy.

I had one quote of his which i lost when my

e-mail crashed, but managed to source it and a few others.

Hope you’ll enjoy them.

“I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind.

Some come from ahead and some come from behind.

But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready you see.

Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!”

“The more that you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”

“You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep

because reality is finally better than your dreams.”

“How did it get so late so soon?

Its night before its afternoon.

December is here before its June.

My goodness how the time has flewn.

How did it get so late so soon?”

“You have brains in your head.

You have feet in your shoes.

You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.

You’re on your own. And you know what you know.

You are the one who’ll decide where to go.”

“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

nothing is going to get better. It’s not.”

That’s all for the moment, enjoy the weather and have a great Sunday!!

BS vs BS

Standing for Bull S#~t Vs Belief Systems – LOL!!

Well that got some attention. I wanted to post something which i am sure may amuse some of you. A little while back my husband, friend and i were discussing negative beliefs, when i decided that i had a symbolic breakthru.

I came up with the idea that it would be nice to buy a bag of regular balloons and for every negative belief i felt ready to let go of through my awareness of it no-longer serving me, i would attach a peice of paper, with the belief written on it, to a blown up balloon and send it off into the sky along with the physical release of the belief was the symbolic letting something go.

Until… my husband decided he had a better way. To rid yourself of negative beliefs, which was to entail a visit to the bathroom. Yes indeed, when going for a crap he said you are physically realeasing something from your body and as he correctly stated that when you are in the toilet you also have time to think, so the two opportunities doubled up together, make for a perfect way to release negative beliefs.

So i will leave you with these thoughts to ponder on and let you decide for yourself which method resonates with you better if either, perhaps you may come up with another idea altogether, in which case feel free to post a comment and share it on here with us.

Be Happy

Learned Helplessness

This Saturday i attended Michael Neill’s seminar promoting his new book, which infact i have written a review for already for my upcoming newsletter due out on Wednesday.

The seminar went well and we had a variety of techniques to try out with positive effects and of course the opportunity to ask questions. The question I asked Michael, which I want to share with you here today, was; “why do people choose to not apply the techniques they learn or know of, that can change the way they feel?”

Simply put, Michael explained a few points which were relevant, but the two most important comments, were that people may wish to feel bad and that is their choice and known as learned helplessness, perhaps they are getting their needs met but sulking through the sympathy of others.

And… secondly because they have maybe tried things in the past that didn’t work and therefore they don’t want to be dissapointed again and would rather not have a go at something new incase it doesn’t produce the expected results.

My couple of additional comments would be this: a) most of us don’t actually realise the more profound effects feeling good actually has on the physical body, from anti aging, to accelerated healing and memory improvement to name a few, and b) because we don’t make the time to create a new habit, nor do we note down what we could do to create these states and so we forget to do them.

My advise is, to get into the practise of feeling good you can double it up with going to the toilet. Most of the techniques are quick and what better place do you have time to yourself and are probably not too mentally occupied to not spare a thought for improving the way you feel.

If this sounds interesting and you would like to see more information on the subject, please click on the link above right to my website now and subscribe to my newsletter, where i will be giving a lot more details about the subject.

SMILE

I am not aware of the source of this, but here goes…

“A smile enriches those who recieve, without making poorer those who give.

It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.

None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, none so poor but he can be made rich by it.

A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business and is the countersign of friendship.

It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad and it’s natures best antidote to trouble.

Yet it cannot be borrowed or stolen, for it is something of no value to anyone, unless it is given away.

Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give.” ~ Anon

Have a great start to the week!

Hawaiian Huna Blessing

After a few days rushing around and getting my newsletter into the kind of format i wanted at last and arranging the automatic subscription to it, i am back.

I thought it would be nice to tell you about a Hawaiian blessing which comes from ancient Huna wisdom, from the Hawaiian elders. It is quiet a simple teaching, however we are quite habitual in nature and need reminding of how are beliefs often do not serve us.

So the basis of this wisdom, is to bless that which you too would like in your life for yourself. Say you see a person with a beautiful home, then you would bless that person and bless their home. If you see someone with a car you like, then you bless the person and bless the car. Same goes for someone’s family, you would bless them and their family.

If you resent a person for having something which you may want, then you automatically prevent yourself from being able to have it. Also it demonstrates your own beliefs and on some level you are not clear about being able to have what someone else does.

Have a great start to the new week & as always Love your Life!

Monika
